Welcome to BCAL Production Design (Brooklyn College Art Lab). Students meet on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.We create set design theme plots, scenery design, lighting design and product design. This year BCAL’s Multi-Media Production Show will focus on two artist; Takashi Murakami (Japanese Graphic artist) & Kara Walker (eighteenth century paper cut-out silhouettes) and accentuating them with West- Indian influences. Both artist were chosen due to their extreme graphic expression resembling the youth of the 21st century. Personalities that run the gamit from the unexpected, dark, bold, head strong, candid,quiet, fashionable, freedom seeking youths that we all experienced at one form or another. Freedom to express……………….Private you……………….&……..Public………………. you!
