“Silhouettes in Motion”

Spring is in the air as our BCAL basketball players shot the hoops.

 “Introduction to Lighting Design”

Here our students learned about light and shadow,line and form,projection and introducing silhouettes and other elements. Creating a mood to set the tone for the scene. Adding color/light to music. We learned to appreciate light and the power it brings to a production!

 

Musical Expression

BCAL was treated with an impromptu musical performance by MJ Constant (Lead Guitar) and Gurberman (bass guitar). MJ sang a song called “Burdened”. A song based on an experience with a boyfriend; trying to help him out of a dilemma which she wanted him to see a better future but refused to get the help he needed. Making decisions and helping others along is not an  easy task.
